Lukasz Zygadlo sets for Emanuele Birarelli's quick attacck

Wednesdays night round (3-0) at PalaTrento against Exprivia Neldiritto Molfetta allowed TI's ENERGY Diatec Trentino a successful debut in Super League PlayOff for UnipolSai 2015 as had already happened in nine of the twelve previous participations in the postseason in the Italian top League. The yellow-blues now have two opportunities to favorably conclude the series of quarter-final which is played by best of three games. Entering the eighth semi-final in their history and on Sunday when the Stoytchev team was able to conquer them at  PalaPoli, which is not the success since last January 25 in the regular season.
"The Exprivia have paid the price of debut in the playoffs; on Sunday in Game 2 I am convinced that they will play a better volleyball” - warned captain Emanuele Birarelli speaking to Radio Dolomiti immediately after the conclusion of Game 1 -.”On the other hand in front of their fans they have always played better games; Puglia fans are able to help their team to grow at every level from all points of view. But we have the advantage of getting prepared for this type of transfer, thanks to the experience accumulated during the five sets played at PalaPoli in the regular season. In the first match the best directions for us are certainly to conquer the first set: especially since the rivalry between  the two teams. In the two successive partials the difference was less marked, perhaps also because it made them feel tired and our performance has lost quality. We did well to get back on top 2-7 from the last period, when we had objectively put Molfetta in a great difficulty. It was important to finish the match in three sets to save precious energy.“
It was with the aim to recharge the batteries of their players, that the coaching staff has granted a day off for the yellow-blues but they will return to training Friday morning for two training sessions (weights and technical). On Saturday at PalaTrento between 9.30am and 11am, the yellow-blues last training session with the ball before they depart for Puglia.
